Disney Frozen 2 Make Your Own Bath Bombs and Learn to Draw Review {Magical Holiday Gift Guide}

Saturday, November 30, 2019

My little girl is a huge fan of Frozen, like a lot of kids. Now that she has gotten to experience Frozen 2, she is now a bigger fan. It’s no surprise with kids that they would enjoy toys, books, clothes, and more that have to do with it Frozen 2. It is a GREAT movie! Recently, and perfect timing with Christmas right around the corner we had the chance to review two items: Make Your Own Bath Bombs and Learn to Draw.
With her powerful magic, Elsa can freeze water into snow crystals! Using the science and materials in this kit, children can create their own amazing transformations. Learn formulas, practice ratios, combine chemicals, and use the scientific method to form bath bombs that are uniquely Frozen 2 and uniquely yours!

It was no surprise that my daughter would love the 'Make Your Own Bath Bombs' kit. Every time we go to the mall, it never fails Lillian must grab her some bath bombs. She was in shock when she realized that she could make her very own. The kit comes with everything that you need to make your own crystal bath bombs.

There is a page that lets you know everything that you will need from either the kit or from your kitchen. You also get to learn the science behind the fizz and the ingredients. It truly is a great learning experience. The instructions are easy to follow with colorful images. We really enjoyed the pages that share with you all the different herbs and spices you can use to get different fragrances. There are several recipes included to get a certain look and fragrance that’s Frozen 2 inspired such as Elsa’s Hot Cocoa bath bomb, Anna’s Candy bath bombs and more.

My little girl had such a blast making bath bombs and even more fun testing them during bath time. This has been truly a great science experience.
With just a bit of practice, even beginning artists can draw all their favorite Disney Frozen 2 characters. This 64-page book features easy step-by-step instructions for drawing Anna and Elsa, the warm hug-loving, summer-curious snowman Olaf, outdoorsman Kristoff and his loyal reindeer, Sven. Also included are some of the new characters of Disney Frozen 2! All you'll need to start drawing is a pencil, and the easy-to-follow instructions in this book will guide you through each step!

Grab a pencil and your copy of Learn to Draw Disney Frozen 2, and flip to the character you want to draw. You will learn using three different methods: tracing, the grid-drawing method, and the basic shapes method. The basic shapes method may seem challenging at first, but the step-by-step illustrations guide you through it, beginning with simple shapes. Before you know it, you will have finished drawings of Elsa, Anna, and other Disney Frozen 2 characters! This book contains tracing paper to accompany the tracing projects, practice grids to draw on after each grid drawing project, and practice pages after each basic shapes project. All you need is a pencil to get started, but you can choose to add color to your drawings with felt-tip markers, colored pencils, watercolors, or acrylic paints.

Lillian is also a big fan of drawing, well at least trying. With this book she gets to learn how to draw her favorite characters from Frozen 2. There are tracing exercises, grid methods, and basic shape drawings. She has really enjoyed learning how to draw and to be honest she loves to put her own little twist on her drawings. She struggles a bit with the drawing, but then again she is only 6. My older daughter sat at the table with her and practiced some, and she did great.

Both items are a fun way to bond and enjoy the evening together.
