Nowadays, more kids seem to have the 'worry bug', better known as anxiety and/or being anxious. For kids, teens, and adults, life can put you in a lot of situations that may trigger your anxiety or worry bugs. Some people have more trouble than others, but there are great tips and ideas out there to help one on how to let go of their worry bugs. Freddie and Friends Becoming Unstuck is a story that teaches little ones how to let go of their worry bugs. This book has some great tips that you can use at all ages.

In this book, Freddie introduces us to Betsy, a nervous little bug, and her worry bug Murray. Betsy shares with us that her worry bug makes her anxious by filling her with doubt. Moments like if she gets called to the board, forgetting the proper notes in music class and so on. She then becomes part of the Worry Bug Club and learns how to deal with her worries. She learns how to F-L-I-P:

F: stands for the Feeling the worry bug creates, like sad or scared
L: is for the Lies the worry bug tells us
I: stand for Inhale (take a deep breath)
P: is for positive Pop. You fight your worry bug with a good thought, so it will pop.

This little tip is amazing! This is an easy concept you can teach little ones, or even use yourself. We all have doubt and fear that creeps upon us. Using FLIP is a great way to talk yourself up which allows you to have a more positive experience.
