You may think that you need to become more stylish to be on top of all the latest trends. Not exactly!

What you need is to have your own style and personality. Once you understand how do you want to look or what kind of personality you want to be, you will come to know what kind of trend will work for you. And it is not difficult as there are a number of things you can use and add to your wardrobe.

No matter if you are new to a fashion style or need a refreshment. We have listed ten tips for you to help you look your best.
  1. Know what your wardrobe should contain: This may be a hard part but is very useful. Always try to make a list and know what you need to put inside your wardrobe. This will help you to make better decisions and will save plenty of your bucks. But try not to mention a specific brand for that, your list should have the product you wish to buy. Are there are chances that you might find the same product at a better price in another store.
  2. Make a budget: Yes, having a budget is vital for shopping. No one wants to exhaust their savings on shopping. Once you have a list of all your purchases, make an estimate of your expense. Limit your budget. This way, you will be able to manage better and save yourself from burning a hole in your pocket.
  3. Try before you buy: Always try your clothes before buying it. It will ensure you whether it will suit you or not. If it doesn’t make you feel comfortable, it has no place in your wardrobe. There is a general rule of buying clothes, if it doesn’t fit, don’t buy it. Even if you know your measurement, there is a chance that the size may vary from brand to brand. So, try every piece of cloth before you make a purchase.
  4. Choose quality over quantity: When you buy quality items, they last longer and save plenty of your money.  A closet full of quality clothes will make your personality look better. Even if you are wearing the same basic clothes in a rotation, it will still enhance your overall looks. The reason behind this is the way quality clothes fit your body and appears.
  5. Accessorize your look: Accessories can make your look to go from ordinary to ‘wow’. Own headwear, belts, bracelets, cufflinks, and shoes that will add a complement to your outfit. For example, you can buy some neckwear like a gold chain or a pendant. David Chapman from Frost recommends a yellow gold chain if you have more of a classic style, but a white gold chain for a more modern look. But remember, your accessories should suit your style and personality.
  6. Check store return and exchange policy: Make sure to read and understand the exchange and return policies of the items. There are many stores that exchange clothes but do not return. Sometimes, you may realize that your purchased piece of cloth is faulty or damaged after the first use. In this case, if you know the policies, you can demand an exchange from the outlet. So, it is good to have knowledge about the policies to avoid any conflict.
  7. Check other outlets for prices: Once you know what you are looking for purchase, try exploring and comparing the prices of other outlets and stores. There are chances that other stores offer better options and schemes on the same product. By this, you can achieve a benefit before buying. But, make sure that whatever product you want to buy is available at the outlet you are going to compare with.
  8. Make an effort to explore other options: Maybe, you have trust in one brand that you are wearing from years, but exploring other options isn’t a bad choice. Keep exploring brands from high-end designer to mid-range brands. Be flexible with your list too. Keep an eye on what other options do you have. It's good to have some alternatives. You may get confused due to a lot of options, but make sure what you liked and why.
  9. Think before you buy: Shopping could be tough at times. You may have to choose what you need over what you want. But no matter what, take your time to make your mind. We have heard that you should listen to all the suggestion, but the decision should be yours in the end. Take help of fashion magazines, ask help from a sales guy in the store, or take along someone with you, but it the end, it should be you who makes the decision.
  10. Keep a close eye on discounts and offers: Ask seller or the sales guy for the offer and discounts. Usually, the stores would display their offers near the aisles of the respective items. You might have observed that there is a small font sentence right next to the offer board, saying that “TnC Applies”. So, it is wiser to confirm with a store representative. These offers and discounts are typically meant for selected products in the store. You can easily get confused between the discounted and non-discounted items.
But before all these suggestion, remember that the style and personality depend upon your confident attitude. When you know your personality and carry it confidently, it shows a strong image that affects your surrounding and even the clothes that you are wearing.

So as you have gone through the points and what you need to do, go out there, prepare your list and get a company with you to help you in making decisions through the course.

In the long run, it will save plenty of your money and will help you to end up with a wardrobe full of stylish and quality clothes. Go for timeless clothing and classic texture, pattern, and colors - they will never disappoint you.
