Tips To Make Your Wedding Day A Perfect One

They say marriages are made in heaven. However, it requires a lot of hard work to put a wedding together. Once you decide to get married, you need to inform all your friends and family about the ensuing happy phase of your life.

Weddings are the best way to celebrate the union of two people who are in love. This occasion surely calls for a grand celebration and this means you have to start planning. Well, there are several things to consider or sort out before the big day.

When the date is closer you could feel overwhelmed and will be wondering is it time to get married? Have I done everything right? In order to avoid such confusions, we have put together a list of things you must take into account when planning your wedding:

Fixing A Date
You have to a lot of things to make your wedding a perfect one, but first things first. Let’s fix a date. Evaluate your schedule and availability of your loved ones before fixing a date for your big day.

Venue
You might have imagined your wedding in a certain way. It might be a particular type of dress or a place where you want to get married. If there is a place on your mind, immediately check the availability of it. Once the venue is fixed, it is easier for you to plan the rest of the things. If a destination wedding is on your mind, make sure you have some time at hand as it needs a lot of planning.

Dress
Now more and more brides are experimenting with their dresses. Even different colors are being chosen for the bride’s dress. Go shopping with your friends. Plan a brunch and it will be a memorable experience. Do not ignore the dresses for the bridesmaid and of course for the maid of honor.

Cake
Some of you prefer tiered cakes while others go for simpler ones. Choose the cake that you find most suitable for your wedding theme. Don’t forget to experiment a little with the icing and the frosting. Try out different cakes before settling for one.

Photography
Your wedding album will stay with you forever. One of the most important events in your life should be captured for you to relive the big day. Consult a good wedding photographer and let him/her narrate your love story in the best possible way. Ask your married friends for suggestions and don’t forget to set a budget for photography.

Food And Beverage
Food is an integral part of any wedding. Planning the wedding menu is not going to be a cake walk. You do not have to serve a seven-course meal but try to incorporate unique flavors and items into the menu. If you are having a destination wedding, authentic cuisine is a must.

Also, find some time to discuss with your partner the ideal honeymoon destination. Make the most of this time together. You certainly will have great stories to tell your grandchildren.
