Dave's Sweet Tooth Toffee Review

Friday, September 7, 2018

The wildly delicious toffee from Dave’s Sweet Tooth is handcrafted in Michigan (which is close by) using time-honored and perfected techniques and is anything but average! Inspired flavors, seasonal favorites and a consistent recipe that has been mastered over the years, Dave’s Sweet Tooth has put their updated stamp on a cherished, classic candy. Perfect gifts for summer babysitters, teachers, and neighbors, unlike most toffees on the market, their mouth melting version comes with a soft crunch. Perhaps it’s the real butter and chocolate, hand sliced almonds or the fact that every batch is made fresh to order. Dave’s Sweet Tooth has been celebrated on Forbes, TODAY, Good Morning America, Chopped and more.

Recently, I was able to try out DAVE’S SWEET TOOTH TOFFEE. They sent me a box filled with differently flavored toffee. There was a LOT of toffee in this box, and reviewing it was very easy, as it is the best toffee that I have ever eaten. If you are on the market for some great toffee, that is probably all that needs to be said.

Let me start by saying, this was definitely one of the best experiences when it comes to Toffee. The toffee is great on every level. It is made right here in the USA, By HAND, the ingredients and toffee are fresh, they are packaged well, and (the most important part) the taste is extremely satisfying. The toffee is soft, not rock-solid, the perfect consistency.

I have tried a few brands, but I have never seen or tasted toffee that looks or tastes quite like DAVE’S. From the moment I took the first bite of the VANILLA BEAN flavor, I knew that I was going to love every other flavor that I received. The flavor of the toffee is mostly toffee. It is the most buttery and fulfilling toffee I have experienced by a mile. The different flavors of the toffee, such as VANILLA BEAN, MILK CHOCOLATE, the classic COFFEE TOFFEE, or PEANUT BUTTER, all share a great toffee taste and are slightly flavored to match the featured ingredient. One thing that I was worried about was being overpowered. I thought that the PEANUT BUTTER flavor would taste like Peanut Butter with not enough of a toffee flavor, this didn’t end up being a problem. You can definitely taste a hint of the ingredient, but a good 80% of the flavor was toffee. Classic, perfect toffee.

I love how Dave’s Sweet Tooth does not cut corners, and genuinely care’s about the product’s quality. There is even a pledge on the outside of the packaging that explains what the company cares about and how they do business. If you love TOFFEE, this should be the last toffee stop you ever have to make. I have never tried toffee that is more delicious than DAVE’S. Give it a shot for an amazing experience.
