Tasty Recipes for National Breakfast Month! #nationalbreakfastmonth

September is National Breakfast Month! Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and make this September special with some nutritious, fall-inspired recipes!

From matcha tea and sweet potato lattes, to seasonal juices and smoothies, these recipes from HUROM have you covered.


Matcha Tea Latte with Cashew Milk

Ingredients:
  • 1 cup Raw cashew nuts
  • 1 teaspoon Matcha tea powder

Instructions:
  • Soak raw cashew nuts in a bowl of water overnight or for 6-8 hours.
  • Put together Hurom juicer's topset with a fine strainer. Close the juice cap, and close the pulp control lever.
  • Add soaked cashew nuts and filtered water at 1:1 ratio to the juicer. Extract silky cashew milk.
  • Whisk matcha powder in a bowl of hot water (½ cup) to make matcha paste.
  • Add freshly made cashew milk to your matcha paste.
  • Serve cold or hot. Enjoy!

Sweet Potato Latte


Ingredients:
  • Milk 200ml
  • Boiled Sweet Potato 100g

Instructions:
  • Close the juice cap and the lever, and fill the chamber with milk
  • Put sweet potato which has been cut into cubes one by one
  • Operate the machine until all ingredients are well mixed
  • When the extraction is almost finished, place the lever in half-opened position to release compressed pulp

Apple Carrot Juice


Ingredients:
  • 1 cup orange
  • ½ cup carrot
  • ¾ cup apple

Instructions:
  • Peel orange, and slice into appropriate sizes
  • Wash carrots thoroughly, remove the seeds from the apple, and slice
  • Put the lever on "close." Alternate the insertion of orange, carrot, and apple


Green Smoothie

Ingredients:
  • Green leafy vegetables
  • Bananas
  • According to preference: apples, pears, milk, yogurt

Instructions:
  • Clean green leafy vegetables and cut in the right size
  • Close the juice cap and put them in HUROM. After extraction, fill up the green vegetable juice with the chamber
  • Put bananas in the chamber. According to your preference, add additional fruits or milk/yogurt
  • Mix bananas well enough with green vegetable juice
