Define Your Summer Look with Rimmel London ~ Review

With the summer sun creating perfect lighting all day long, using selfie-proof makeup is more important than ever. Rimmel London has you covered with the Insta Duo Contour Stick and Wonder Wing Eyeliner. This dynamic duo contours your face and your eyes for a more defined look that will take you from day to night!

The Insta Duo Contour Stick is available in three different shades; light, medium, and dark. I happen to have a nice tan right now, so I opted for the medium shade. The contour shade is a medium warm-brown that could also be used as a bronzer. The highlight offers a fine shimmer, perfect for giving you an amazing glow.

The contour and the highlight shades are both very creamy, making them perfect for applying to your skin, blending in with ease. During my review, I simply used a beauty blender which worked amazingly. I love how natural the contour and highlight shades look on my skin. I was left with a very bronzy and glowing look, nothing over the top. It was subtle, more natural. This makes it perfect for every day to nighttime wear.

I would say that the Insta Duo Contour Stick easily lasts hours. I didn’t use any finishing powder, I am sure it would last longer if I had. For the price of $6.99, it offers pure quality at an amazing value.

When it comes to winged eyeliner, I am one that loves it, but by no means great at applying it. When I work on applying eyeliner, it takes me just as long to apply it as the rest of my makeup. For some time I have thought about trying the eyeliner wing stamp, but just haven’t made that step. I just wasn’t sure if it would help me and my skills, until now.

The Rimmel Wonder Wing Eyeliner Stamp is AMAZING! It offers a felt tip liner that has a winged shape that is specially designed to stamp the perfect wing into place. Plus, it can be used as a traditional liner as well. At first, I was a little skeptical about how well I could use the eyeliner wing stamp due to its design. I kept thinking about how to properly hold my hand at the right angle. However, with practice, I am pretty good at it now. You simply position the flat edge where you want it and basically, stamp. This creates your wing look. Then you just complete the job by drawing a line across your lash line.

I am very happy with my winged eyeliner. It lasts hours without fading in color and dries super-fast without having any smearing issues. If you are wanting to draw attention to your eyes this is the eyeliner that I would recommend, especially with a price of $6.99.
