Swado Swaddler Review

When the time comes for you to bring home your new and precious little bundle of joy that you just welcomed into the world, there are many things you need. One thing that I consider as a must-have item is an amazing swaddler, one that allows you to wrap your little one up in love and provide them comfort in this important time. We all know that when the baby sleeps, you get to finally sleep. The Swado swaddler offers your little bundle of joy a comfortable way to sleep and feel all comfy.

What makes Swado different?
  • Patented GoodCatchTM allows you to wrap baby easily and quickly; opening/closing the wrap is silent and will not wake baby; fabric is soft and will not irritate baby’s skin
  • Safety chest strap under the swaddle keeps fabric below baby’s mouth and nose
  • Roomy bottom for healthy hip development; acknowledged by the International Hip Dysplasia Institute
  • Baby remains swaddled during diaper change

Since my youngest child is 4, and a little too old to be swaddled (unless you ask her), my friend who just had a little boy was thrilled to review the Swado swaddler for me. The first feature she noticed was that it comes with its very own wash bag, allowing you to toss it in with the regular wash. This keeps it and its fasteners safe from the heavier and tougher clothes. It has a special fastener called the GoodCatch. The GoodCatch fastener is not actually a fastener at all. It is extremely soft fabric that just sticks / adheres together with ease and stays in place. She was also a huge fan of how soft the fabric of the swaddler was on her little baby boy’s skin. She stated that it is thinner than other’s that she has which helps with the heat of the summer days during swaddle-time.

She did mention that she loved how it is acknowledged by the International Hip Dysplasia Institute for its roomy bottom. Plus, the design of the swaddler allows you to keep your baby swaddled while having their diapers changed, a feature that will be used again and again and again...

Overall, she is very happy and impressed with the Swado. The bonus perk for her is the extra sleep she has caught up on because her baby boy is loving it so much!
