coverPlug 'Tomoson' Review/Giveaway 'Baby Gift Guide'

Sunday, December 1, 2013

As a mom with three kids ages 9, 6, and 2 months I want to make sure my house is safe for them. One thing that always scares me is the electrical outlets. I am always afraid that my kids will accidentally or even on purpose at times with the younger ones put their fingers in the outlets. I use the little plastic covers that just cover up the plug individually however, these do not really stay in place and they are very easy to pull off. When I had the chance to work with coverPlug on a Tomoson review, I was excited because the coverPlug covers the whole area to keep your little ones safer.
The first thing I noticed about the coverPlug is that it covers the whole outlet, which keeps those little holes out of sight and mind. The coverPlugs posts on the back align perfect with the ground opening of a double outlet. If you do not have outlets with ground holes then you are not able to use these covers.

I really like that when you place the coverPlug on the outlet it stays in place very snuggly on the wall. I am able to get it off if I need to but the kids have to pull quite a bit to get it off. Another great feature is the plastic cover can be painted the same color that your walls are. This allows them to blend perfectly into the walls. I did not paint the covers because I change up our room colors so often that the white did not bother me.

I really like the coverPlugs. They give me the peace of mind that when I am not in a room with my kids I do not have to worry about the electrical outlets no more.

One winner will win a coverPlug of their own.
