Copy-Kids Eat Fruits and Vegetables DVD 'Tomoson' Review/Giveaway 'Baby Gift Guide'

Sunday, December 1, 2013

I love for my kids to eat healthy however nowadays with all of the yummy junk food out there it can be really hard. Luckily, my kid’s school really helps with this. The lunch menu’s at our school are really good at including healthy foods in the meal plans such as vegetables, fruits, wheat breads and more. It can still be a huge struggle to get my little boy who is 6 to get to try and enjoy healthy foods so when I can get some help in making eating healthy fun I welcome it. I had the chance to work with Copy-Kids on a review on their Eat Fruits and Vegetables DVD.

Copy-Kids is a media company producing videos that encourages positive habits in young children, by watching and copying other kids. Copy-Kids unique content — DVD, online and TV — helps parents get their children hooked on healthy and positive habits.

Produced for children aged 6 months to 5 years, Copy-Kids innovative video is fun and compelling for both children and parents.

Copy-Kids launched in January 2012 with our first DVD — Copy-Kids Eat Fruits and Vegetables. The DVD features 12 x 7 minute chapters, one for each of twelve fruits & veggies:

Each chapter features several adorable and entertaining children aged 9 months to 4 years, eating with joy and delight. It’s a simple but revolutionary tool for parents who want their kids to develop a life-long habit of healthy eating. The DVD includes an on-camera discussion about healthy eating with renowned pediatrician Dr. Jay Gordon, plus a section of delightful outtakes.

This DVD is very cute for ages 6 months to 5 years however, my 6 year old was able to watch the movie and try new foods as well. This will be an amazing movie for Lillian to watch in about 4 months to learn that eating healthy can be a lot of fun. The movie is able to portray little ones having fun while eating their fruits and vegetables and really loving it. This DVD has a good idea of if a little kid/baby sees another one doing something they will follow.

While my little boy has been watching this he does relate more with the older kids versus the babies but the movie still had a positive influence on his eating. Since, we have reviewed the movie my little boy has tried several new fruits and vegetables and it was not a struggle to get him to do so. He has tried carrots, strawberries, cucumber, oranges and blueberries. I am sure that as time goes he will try more and more things after realizing that there are so many tasty fruits and veggies out there.
