20 Mule Team Borax Review/Giveaway

Saturday, January 19, 2013

Hello! As many of you may know, I am a Purex blogger, and regularly get the chance to do review's and giveaways on various products. This time I was given the chance to try out the 20 Mule Team Borax Laundry Booster and all purpose cleaner. I had never tried this product until my review. After using this laundry detergent-booster, I am convinced that this is a very useful product.

Borax is the common name for sodium tetraborate: a naturally occurring substance produced by the repeated evaporation of seasonal lakes. 20 Mule Team Borax is 100% natural, and 99.5% pure (there is about a half of 1% of naturally occurring trace minerals). Once removed from the ground it is washed, dried, and boxed for consumers. In earlier times, borax was proclaimed to be a magical crystal that was used to aid digestion, keep milk sweet and even cure epilepsy. Common sense and modern technology have brought us better solutions to these and other problems, but 20 Mule Team Borax still has a place in your home.

Where we live we have very hard water, it can be a little rough on our clothes. I first used this product with my whites (towels and washclothes) too see how it would do. I am one that is pretty leery on trying a new product on my clothes. So I thought that these items would be a perfect testing grounds. I was so impressed when my load of clothes were done. Everything was so clean and bright. They really seemed to be much whiter then before.

So I just had to try the product on a load of darks. To my surprise, the darks came out more bright and the colors more crisp. The didn't seem dull. This product really helps in the process of getting your clothes cleaner and brighter.

Whith the product being an all purpse cleaner, I was able to think of all sorts of areas to use this product on. I did my floors in the kitchen and bathrooms. The product worked like a charm on the floors. Really got those dirty spots that you scrub and scrub at so much easier. Plus, it works great on doors and even trash cans. I know I can think of more places to use this.

I love the fact that is laundry booster is a lot less exspensive then laundry boosters that have just been coming out the last few years. Where this product has been around for so long that obviously have it right because they are still going strong. Plus, I love that it is a laundry booster and all purpose cleaner in one.

20 Mule Team Borax offers NO Phosphates, Chlorine and other chemicals that can harm our body, clothes and the environment in it. I should also mention that this product helps soften your clothes.

Where to purchase: You are able to make a purchase from local retailers in your area. You can also go to the store locator on the 20 Mule Team Borax website to find a store near you.
