Journal 10 Review/Giveaway

Thursday, October 4, 2012

Both my husband and I have really been putting a lot of thought into our memories and achievements, both past and future. We realize that pictures are valuable to memories, but we also admit that we could be doing more to preserve our family’s history. Luckily, our kids are both still young, and I recently found the item that can really help us with our goal of recording our family’s history. The “Journal 10” allows you to be both an observer, and a recorder of your family’s history, as it unfolds. Since the majority of us will never be famous or elected as an important official, we are tasked with recording our family’s history. The busy person’s journal offers a lovely, traditional, and leather-bound way to do just that.

Key features:
*As you make each entry you see what was happening on that day in previous years
*Re-reading triggers memories of people, place and events otherwise forgotten
*Captures personal and family development and milestones
*Takes just 5 minutes a day
*No pressure to fill a blank page
*Builds over time into a family memoir
Everyone should have their own time machine” are the words that are printed on the label that arrived with the “busy person’s journal”. That statement is perfect for what the busy person’s journal is. This personal record keeper makes keeping track of daily events a breeze. Each day is beautifully marked with the date and several lines to record that day’s happenings. The cover is leather and durable. The quality of the journal is on par with the nicest I have ever seen. The book reminds me of a bible in its appearance and quality. This durability is important in something that will actively be used for at least 10 years, and probably looked at and passed around for many years after.

The journal is laid out for ten years of record keeping. Each day is a page and each page holds ten years of that day. So, for example, there are ten “August 30th’s” on the same page, on for each year from 2012 to 2022.

Not only is this journal great for moments of importance, weddings, names, and other events that shouldn’t be forgotten, but it also makes a great gift for anyone. It is one of those simple items that means so much more because of what it represents.
I love this item, and it will grow with importance over the years, as we fill it. In this age of digital distraction, it is nice to see something that can help us keep in touch with reality, and remember what it felt like. Item s like this will eventually be replaced, so you should pick one up, before it is too late.
Where to purchase: You are able to make a purchase from the Journal 10 website for 39.95.
