In Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked, in DVD and Blu-ray on March 27th, the Chipmunks and the Chipettes get “chipwrecked” on an island. However, not everyone can afford to have a tropical vacation during spring break. For those not able to leave town, we have some fun and affordable stay-cation ideas for you including, Alvin-themed activity sheets and backyard camping.

What better way to spend the afternoon than answering some Alvin-themed activity sheets that contain either crossword puzzles, word finds or mazes from your fave chipmunks?  Enjoy it after you watch their new film Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked on DVD or Blu-ray, though you won’t have to be caught up with their new adventures to answer these fun activity sheets.

Who says you have to travel plenty of miles to enjoy some camping adventure?  Backyard camping is a fun, cheap and stress-free alternative to going out into the wild. Just prop your tent, bring some games and snacks and you’re all set.  Want to know the best part? A clean bathroom and your comfy bed are all within steps away should you need them.

Nothing says Spring Break than a pool party topped with BBQ.  Easy to organize and not much materials needed, just call up a few friends and family, throw a pool party on a warm weekend and let the fun begin.  Thinking of adding more jazz to the party?  Add a theme like a Hawaiian Luau, Jungle Paradise or “Chipwrecked.”

Slumber parties are the best way to spend a stay-cation. You get to go to a friend’s house, be in your comfy PJs, eat yummy snacks, and stay up all night long.  Need some additional ideas to fill up your slumber party?  Why not watch some fun movies that you and your friends enjoy or have never seen before? Make sure to include Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked on your movie list.
