Butt Bench Revew/Giveaway

Saturday, March 17, 2012

I am not much of a showering type person, I would rather take a bath and soak. But there are things that I would love to change when it comes to my favorite bathing method. Like shaving my legs, which can be a little difficult with a tub full of water. I do love to fill my tub with lots of water. Then I have several different bottles to use during a bath: shampoo, conditioner, body scrubs, bubble bath, body wash, shaving cream, bar soap, puffs and a razor. I know I missed a few things. With all of that stuff, it sure makes the sides of my tub look pretty cluttered. When I was given the chance to do a review for the Butt Bench I knew it was going to be a favorite of mine when it comes to taking baths and better organizing my tub.

The Butt Bench arrived completely assembled. All I had to do was take it out of the box and wrapper. Each Butt Bench is made of natural wood and comes in your choose of cedar or pine, plus you can choose white or pink as well. They are all sealed with a water proof finish, which protects it from rot and makes cleaning a breeze. The bench is offered in two different sizes to choose from, allowing it to better fit your tub, 12" or 15".

I was really excited to see how well this product really helped with my storage and how well it helped when it came to shaving my legs. I noticed right away how durable and thick the wood is. You can tell that it is made with holding quite a load in mind, while still handling your weight with ease. I also really liked how it spans the entire tub, all the way to the other side allowing me to easily sit on it while shaving my legs and keep my bottles on the bench with me as well.

The back side of the bench features suction cups that slide from side to side depending on where you need them. I was surprised that these suction cups worked so well, usually with suction cups after a few uses you start to have trouble. But, these are really holding up very well.

I love how well the Butt Bench sits on my tub like it was made especially for it. I have found it to be very useful while I am bathing. It is very easy to clean and adds a touch of decor to my bathroom. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, the logo 'cracks' me up every time I see it!

About the company: Bath Extras designed and manufactures the Butt Bench, a patent-pending bath seat made of natural wood first created in 2006. We started giving out Butt Bench to friends and family and they absolutely loved it. Some of them gave the bath seat to their aging parents and it helped them sit comfortably while bathing. We have a Butt Bench in every tub and use it to make shaving and foot-baths easier, and to store our assortment of shampoos and soaps.

Where to purchase: You are able to make a purchase from the Butt Bench website. Prices will vary depending on what you purchase. a Rafflecopter giveaway
