About the company: Founded by contemporary and well-known chef David Tsang, House of Tsang products draw on the flavors and spices of his childhood in Hong Kong; spicy ginger, bright citrus, classic teriyaki. He built the House of Tsang® product line on the ideals of clean, authentic flavors, easy and convenient products and his desire to show others how simple it is to create healthy, nutritious Asian food at home. So, if you are looking for an Asian meal on the go or want to give your meal the extra twist, House Of Tsang has the flavors you are looking for. With sauces and oils that you can mix and match you will be able to flavor your meals over and over again and make very tasty memories with you family.
House of Tsang offers: grill sauces, seasoned oils, soy sauces, marinades, stir fry's and traditional sauces. There are so many different flavors and varieties that you can mix and match different items over and over and come up with an amazing dinner that you will love to eat.
During my review I was sent a box of goodies that allowed me to usher in the Chinese New Year with my family. I received these items from HOUSE of TSANG to create a meal:
- House of Tsang Bangkok Padang Peanut Sauce
- House of Tsang General Tsao Sauce
- House of Tsang Ginger Flavored Soy Sauce
- House of Tsang Sesame Seed Oil
- House of Tsang Sweet & Sour Stir Fry Sauce
- House of Tsang Hibachi Grill Sauce Kobe Steak
- Chopstick Gift Set
I want to start by sharing a fact that I have learned, with you. Chinese sauces, all boast flavors that are both subtle and bold in a way that is absent in most American sauces. Fineness is the prominent, undertone you taste, throughout enjoying every House of Tsang flavor. The quality of the sauce was somehow fresh feeling, most of my favorite sauces look like they could have been sitting on a shelf for ten years, when I pour them out of the bottle, but not the House of Tsang brand. I noticed that the colors seemed more bold, which made me feel that the bottles were fresh off of a farm.
My favorite flavor was the Hibachi Grill Sauce, Kobe Steak. I used it when grilling up some steaks and, let me tell you, those were some of the most delicious slices of beef I ever had. My hubby likes the Ginger flavored Soy Sauce. He is a long time lover of traditional soy sauce, and he said that anyone who likes soy sauce should definitely try it instead.
The House of Tsang brand of sauces are the perfect opportunities to explore new ground in kitchen, or further your oriental style cooking from experimenting, to an art. It is an affordable alternative to the vast array of not so authentic "authentic" mass marketed sauce. It is prepared with care, and brought to you by a well respected chef, so if you enjoy, or have yet to experience Asian sauces, you should look as far as House of Tsang, and not have to worry about looking any further.
Where to purchase: You are able to go to the product locator tab on the Hormel Foods website. This will let you know where you can purchase these items.
