Holiday Gift Guide 2011: Glow Crazy Distance Doodler Review

As a mom I love watching my kids show their creativity while drawing, plus it lets me know that my kids are using their imagination. I have tons of pictures on my refrigerator and also on my kids doors and walls. The problem with this is that tape can tend to be a little rough on the walls. Plus, after a while they can have way too many pictures leaving no remaining room for anything else. One simple solution to this problem is having a Glow Crazy, which allows kids to draw over and over and have unlimited possibilities of play time.

Unlike other glow in the dark toys, the special GlowCrazy Distance Doodler Magic Lightwand works from more than 10 feet away. The dual-action glow-beam generator features an adjustable beam that makes it easy to draw and write with skinny lines, or make your magic with wide paths of light, perfect for creating silhouettes and other exciting designs. Jumbo removable peel-and-stick wall clings can be placed on the wall, the ceiling or any other flat surface, and removed quickly and easily, with no damage and no sticky residue.

Holiday Gift Guide: Chucky Bling Giveaway

About the company: started out in northern California and recently relocated to Utah.  We love beads!  As a child, one of my sisters taught me to make bead jewelry, and now, 20 years later, my love of beads has grown...chunkier!  My husband was the driving force behind starting up Chunky Bling, and we both enjoy finding new and unique beads, designing jewelry and getting feedback from our customers.

Chunky Blings offers several different jewelry pieces that can elevate any outfit that you are wearing for the day. There are several different beaded rings that offer elegance and style. If you love necklaces then you can find the perfect charm cluster necklaces at Chunky Bling. I love that you can find everything from watches, necklaces, rings and even chunky bracelets. Holiday Gift Guide 2011: HandStand Kids Review

My kids love to help me in the kitchen when I am cooking or baking. This also givens them some knowledge of how to be safe in the kitchen and also how to cook. The only thing I have really been lacking is aprons and oven mitts that are sized for little kids. Also, a cookbook that is designed with food that has kids in mind. HandStand Kids sent me several items to review which made my kids really happy. Plus, HandStand Kids offers items that make some family fun times together.

About the company:**********The Handstand Kids Cookbook Company aims to use international cooking to create a global community of children and empower kids to take a stand in their own community. Cooking is a fantastic way to promote health and nutrition, explore different cultures, encourage family togetherness and give to others in need. Our books, newsletters and website introduce children to a variety of charitable organizations and show them how they can use their new cooking abilities to help others.**********

Cooper and Me and the Winter Adventure 'Kids Book' Review/Giveaway

About Cooper and Me:  It was illustrated by 11-year-old Alexa Peters and co-written with her mother, Monique Peters.  The idea was inspired by Alexa's own experiences on her first day of school.  A talented young artist and writer, Alexa wanted to give back to others in a meaningful way through her art.  Starting at a very young age, Alexa created illustrated stories about her daily experiences, and from the pages of her sketchbooks came the idea for her first book, Cooper and Me.

I love the fact, $1 of every Winter Adventure book sold goes to advance research & treatment of pancreatic cancer, via the Lustgarten Foundation.
