We have a winner!

Congratulations Mary #53 for being the winner of the

Dragon and the Turtle Book Review

I was so happy to have the opportunity to review this amazing book "The Dragon and the Turtle" written by Donita K. Paul and Evangeline Denmark also illustrated by Vincent Nguyen. This is the very first time to have the opportunity to review a children's book and honestly I can't wait to review another one.

My kids were so happy when they seen this book. My little girl who is 7 sit down on the couch and read it to her little brother which he is 3. It was way to cute how she was reading to him and he was just all into it. I think were she was changing her voice was a hit lol!

Product Description: Roger loves adventure. Today he’s playing pirate, sailing the high seas, dancing to the hornpipe, and catching fish. But the wind’s blown him off course and he’s . . . well . . . lost. When Padraig, a kitten-sized, bug-eating dragon, encounters the lost turtle, he offers to help Roger find his way home. Roger’s directions take some time to follow—his house looks brown, sounds like singing, smells feels like sand, and tastes like strawberries—and along the way, Roger and Padraig become friends. And friendship always yields unexpected rewards. Like cookies. like baking,

About the Authors:
A former schoolteacher, DONITA K. PAUL is the best-selling author of the Dragon Keeper series, The Vanishing Sculptor, and Dragons of the Valley. She enjoys cooking, beading, stamping, knitting, and her grandsons. Not necessarily in that order.

The daughter of novelist Donita K. Paul,
EVANGELINE DENMARK grew up living and breathing good stories. Now she enjoys fiction writing and loves to share Roger and Padraig stories with her own two rambunctious boys.

My Thoughts: I am so happy that there is a book out there like this that has such a great teaching on how to help others in need. Whether it be opening a door for someone or even helping an elderly person carry something to their car. I mean I always teach my kids to help others but this is in a kids version to where they are learning more from the book then you know mom and dad lol. That is fine with me because later that night my little girl went in her little brother's room and helped him clean up all his cars and she said see mom I am helping:) Also I love the illustrations they were so colorful and done so well. I am also very happy that the Dragon looked friendly and not scary that was a plus for me.

You can purchase this book at Amazon starting at $9.59.
