RideMakerz RZ Force Tow Truck Review "Holiday Gift Guide 2011"

Thursday, November 10, 2011

Our little boy is a huge fan of basically anything to do with vehicles. Of course all little boys love cars and trucks, I think it is in their DNA. When he first started loving vehicles of course he could tell the difference between a car, truck, van, and jeep. Then a little while later, he went a little future being able to identify the difference in vehicles like cop cars, ambulances, tow trucks and more. The next thing we knew our little boy could sit down with a book and say there is a Ford, Chevy, Corvette, Charger, Porsche, and more. Like I said he really knows his vehicles and he is only 4. Crazy, Right? So, when I was given the chance to do a review for RIDEMAKERZ I knew it was going to be a hit, and that the brand would be a future item being bought all the time in our home.

So, when we got all the parts out of the box, immediately Conner wanted to get started putting the tow truck together. I think that since he loves vehicles so much, being able to put one together was like a little dream to him. He helped piece the tow truck together and loved every moment of it. The complete set came with a really cool fitted screw driver to help get every thing together. Another cool thing about the fitted screw driver it was designed to look like a key.
Conner really had fun putting the wheels and rims together. In fact, he even let me know that the rims were gold and chrome. Plus, that they were rims. The wheels were rubber, no plastic which offers much more ease on the floor and the vehicle. I also loved that he was getting to put a remote control car together.
The tow truck was a great size, not little in anyway. My little boy thought it was really cool being able to see his reflection in the tow truck. I was really surprised at the quality of the materials for the vehicle. The plastic was thick, not thin like a lot of remote control cars you see in stores.
Once, the tow truck was put together we had to put batteries where they were needed. There are batteries required in the tow truck, remote control, and also the lights. Batteries were included in the truck and emergency lights, the remote control required a 9 volt, which was the only one that was not included. The lights are really cool how they attach to the tow truck, they simply are magnetic. The tow truck has lights everywhere headlights, tail lights, break lights, back up lights, siren lights, and of course makes really cool noises. The different lights all flash in succession, adding an excited feeling to his playing experience.
This is one of the coolest toy tow trucks I have ever seen. Then again we did put it together so we had a blast as a family doing that. The vehicle is made of quality materials and offers a great item for any little boy.

The website is really cool. I love how you get to pick out the vehicles you want. You simply go step by step and pick what items you want. You never know what you will decide on once you see what all they offer. It is on par with websites that allow you to customize actual cars.
