I am so excited the Holiday Season is starting to take off. I am already buying wrapping items, gifts, food for the dinner's and so much more. Christmas is my most favorite holiday of the year. As soon as Christmas is over, I am pretty much thinking of next year's Christmas. One thing I love to do with my family when the holiday season starts is get our Christmas movies out. We watch  a little bit of everything when it comes to Christmas movies. We watch kids movies, funny movies, for me romantic movies and even just good hearted movies. There are so many different ones you and your family can enjoy together. Although, for me it has been a while since I have gotten a new Christmas movie. So, when I had the chance to review the, Thomas Kinkade Presents "Christmas Lodge" DVD, I couldn't have been more thrilled.

Thomas Kinkade presents Christmas Lodge: a place where a heart-warming past and loving future meet for one remarkable group of people. During a weekend trip to the mountains, Mary (Erin Karpluk) finds herself at the now- dilapidated lodge where she spent the holidays with her family growing up. She becomes determined to restore the building to its former glory. Inspired by her grandfather and guided by her grandmother in heaven, Mary throws herself into the project, and during the process finds herself drawn to Jack (Michael Shanks), a handsome man who loves the lodge as much as she does. Historically unlucky in love, this chance encounter allows Mary to renew her faith in life and discover her one true love. For an uplifting story about the importance of faith, family and the true holiday spirit, go to the Christmas Lodge.

Oh, I was so excited when I received this movie to review. Since, the kids were playing in their rooms and being so good, I decided to relax and watch my new movie. I of course had to make some popcorn and get a big comfy blanket. What goes better then these two things with a movie when it is cold. This movie from the moment it started it pulled me into the story. This movie offers such a great family friendly movie to watch together. I as a mom love that when you are watching a Christmas movie and it doesn't offer any foul language. I personally don't feel they go hand in hand. This movie does not offer anything foul or inappropriate. Making me more then happy to allow my kids to watch the movie if they want. The main meaning of the movie is about fixing up the Christmas Lodge since it's fallen in disrepair. When they are bringing back the lodge to its original beauty, it isn't about the lodge itself. It is about the heart and soul, the memories, what brings them together to want to bring life back into the lodge. Of course for us women there is a couple that does fall in love, which I am a sucker for. I would highly recommend this movie as I think it is a must see movie for the Holiday Season, and it will get you into the spirit.
