DesingerLiners Biodegradable Trash Bags Review/Giveaway

Saturday, September 3, 2011

There are so many things we use in our lives that we just couldn't do without. From clothes, shoes, toiletries, cleaning supplies, food the list goes on and on. One thing that every household has and always has in trash bags. Brands vary, prices vary pretty much the only thing that don't vary is color choices. I mean all you see in my kitchen is white trash bags or I could go too black. Then my bathroom's they do have little trash bags in colors but the same thing with the kitchen no designs are offered in trash bags. I mean everyone including yourself will see your trash bags in your house so why not make your trash can look great with DesignerLiners.

About the person behind DesignerLiners and the product: Muriel Wiener, one of New York’s most successful executives in the promotional advertising business, has made a career out of developing new concepts for both things that people know they want and for things they never realized they needed. While recuperating from an accident that was so serious, she could barely see (even her eyeglasses didn’t help much), for the first time in her life, she needed help in the house. And, during the course of her daily activities, this misguided helper committed what for Muriel was the unimaginable…she stuffed a grocery bag into the waste basket. Even with limited vision and broken glasses she could see that there was a grocery bag in the waste basket, but something red and black was in the bottom, pretty; however, in Muriel's house a grocery bag in the trash is a definite no-no. Upon further investigation she saw it was a logo. Outrage set in, but then came the idea. Put a pretty pattern on the inside of biodegradable plastic bag, or a logo and "dress the mess". Finally a solution to the age old problem of trash. If someone who had recently had an accident and to heal from the inside out still found this it to be an eyesore, then it should be no less acceptable to any of you or your clients. Thus designerliners was conceived. If our paper towels have a pretty print and they get thrown out immediately, then the waste basket liner should be shown the same respect.
There are so many patterns, colors, designs to choose from. So what ever color your kitchen and bathrooms or whatever room you are wanting to add style to your trash there are several. ~Black Leopard, Black Tattersol, Blue Leopard, Blue Toile, Gold Gingham, Navy Polka Dots, Oragne Polka Dots, Pink Polka Dots, Red Gingham, and Red Toile~

They are also very happy to create custom designerliners for you! This is a great and new way to put your logo, your crest, your old brand name or your new brand name on a brand new concept. You would, of course, there is a minimum order requirements for custom designs.

Every designerliner is made from a revolutionary additive technology which makes it biodegradable while maintaining the other desired characteristics of plastic products.
    - are fully biodegradable in 9 months to 5 years
    - are fully biodegradable wherever they are disposed of
(where other things are biodegrading- anaerobically and aerobically).
    - are recyclable
    - can be made with recycled resins
    - do not use heat, light or mechanical stress to break them down
    - do not require special handling
    - do not contain heavy metals

The first thing I noticed was the color of the DesignerLiners they seemed to be pale. Then when I went online and also read the piece of paper that came with them it made since why they were pale. The design is on the inside of the bag, for this you are to put them in the waste basket like this as well. Because once you fold down the top you will see the pretty color and design, plus when you look down inside the bag in the can you will see the color as well. This makes the pale side not noticeable. I was really happy to see that they were thick not thin bags. I have come across some bags that were so thin it just took you touching the bag and it would rip. With as much stuff we put in the trash a day I noticed that it didn't rip, or stretch which is also a great thing.  If the trash bag stays in tact with all the stuff we toss away everyday that is great for us. Also, I did want to test out the leakage of the bag and I am happy to say that no leaks happened so walking from the can to the door no mess. It is so nice to have a really pretty design in my can instead of the same oh white bag that really just clashes with my kitchen. There are several other designs and colors I want to try. Another great thing is these would make great house warming gifts to a young couple that is either getting married or they just bought a home. Or if you are doing a party at your house you can also get DesignerLiners to match the party theme so no clashing would be done. This is such a great product from the design, colors, use, and quality.
